It is the mission of Strong Start to support family needs in every possible way. This means that we want our parents to feel involved and present in the care and education of their children. The Strong Start Family Council provides an opportunity to meet and collaborate with other families, staff and administration.

Parent Council provides parents with the opportunity to assist in:

• Planning, organizing and supporting family-related programs and activities at Strong Start, including our annual family picnic.
• Serving as class parents to support and coordinate classroom activities with the general parent body, as requested by the teachers or administration.
• Providing feedback and ideas to administration regarding school functions as requested.
